Most entrepreneurs think attention comes from money.
Ads. Boosted posts. Sponsored placements.
The logic sounds right: “If I spend, I get seen.”
Except that’s not how reality works in 2025.
Some brands burn thousands on ads and still look invisible.
Meanwhile, other players spend nothing and suddenly show up everywhere.
And when you’re building on a tight budget, the old advice gets annoying real quick:
“Just post more on social.”
“Do SEO.”
“Maybe go viral.”
You read that and rolled your eyes, right?
Good.
Because you already know those aren’t real strategies. They’re wishful thinking dressed as productivity.
You thought I’d suggest that kind of list again — “TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn.”
But that’s not where attention hides anymore.
Attention has moved.
It lives in places most marketers never look.
