Travis and Jason Kelce‘s mother, Donna, is carrying out an extensive renovation of her Florida condo—as rumors swirl that her younger son is set to return to the NFL for a 14th season, but could be preparing to transf away from his longtime team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
Donna, 73, who has carved out her own celebrity career with endorsement deals and a recent appearance on “The Traitors,” is understood to have hired a local company to carry out the work at her two-bedroom abode—including the replacement of nine windows and six doors.
The NFL matriarch has owned the 1,434-square-foot Orlando home for nearly seven years now, having snapped it up for the relatively low price of $355,000 in 2019, records show.
However, she now appears ready to give the dwelling a very extensive spruce, with TMZ reporting that she has already awarded contracts for the work to a local company.
It’s unclear whether Donna will continue to live in the home while the work is being carried out, having relocated to Florida full time not long after she purchased the property.
Property records show that a notice of commencement for the work was filed in February, however it is not known whether the construction has been completed. Those documents note that the property is registered under three names: Donna, Travis, and Jason, indicating that she plans to leave the dwelling to her two sons.
The home is located in the Baldwin Park neighborhood, which was formerly a Naval Training Center.
Now, the area offers a much more peaceful environment, despite being situated mere miles away from downtown Orlando and Disney World.
The property was built in 2005 and comes complete with a wrap-around balcony. The floor plan of the home features a home office, a library, a den, and even a workout room.
It may be that Donna was inspired to carry out the work by her future daughter-in-law, Taylor Swift, who filed permits to complete a very dramatic overhaul of her Rhode Island vacation home in late 2024, which was going to add around 400 square feet of space to the property—to the tune of $1.7 million.
The dwelling is located just a stone’s throw from a Rhode Island hotel where Taylor and Travis are rumored to be tying the knot later this year—with multiple reports suggesting that they have settled on June 13 as their date.
Earlier this year, a sizable penthouse inside the location hit the market for the sky-high price of $20 million, offering one lucky homebuyer the chance to secure front row seats to the wedding of the year.
The three-bedroom unit, which is the only penthouse located in the Ocean House Resort in Westerly, RI, spans just under 4,700 square feet and offers beautiful “unobstructed views” over the Atlantic Ocean and the Little Narragansett Bay, the listing, which was first reported by Mansion Global, states.
Should the rumors about Taylor and Travis opting to host their wedding at Ocean House—which is located just a few minutes’ walk from the pop star’s own Rhode Island estate—prove to be true, the property will also provide a front row seat to what will undoubtedly be the celebrity event of the year.
The listing came just a few months after reports began to surface that the couple had earmarked the venue as their chosen wedding location, with Page Six claiming that the couple are planning to tie the knot at the property on June 13, 2026.
It was further alleged that the duo had offered a hefty sum to another couple who had already secured that date for their own wedding.
Insiders told the outlet that Taylor and Travis have wanted to tie the knot at the Rhode Island venue for quite some time.
In addition to incorporating Taylor’s lucky number—13—the date would also ensure that Travis is all wrapped up with wedding activities by the time most NFL players return for preseason training, although it is currently unclear which team, if any, he will be training with.
On March 8, The Athletic reported that Travis, who will become an unrestricted free agent when his contract with the Chiefs expires on March 11, is hoping to speak to multiple teams during the free agency window.
However, hours later, the NFL’s National Insider, Ian Rapoport, shared a post on X in which he stated that Travis was “expected” to return to the Chiefs for another season.
“#Chiefs future Hall of Fame TE Travis Kelce is expected to return to Kansas City for a 14th season, a message that’s been delivered to teams who will want him,” Rapoport wrote.
