An oceanfront Florida Keys estate that boasts nearly every over-the-top amenity imaginable has recently hit the market for the sky-high price of $24.99 million—complete with a veritable playground of features that were designed to awe, delight, and entertain.

Built in 2023, the seven-bedroom Islamorada, FL, megamansion was designed to accommodate up to 14 guests—offering a spread of bedrooms, as well as an abundance of unique living spaces, including a private Baccarat ballroom.

Occupying nearly nearly 2 acres of land between Miami and Key West, the property, which is listed with Pamela Dimartino of Coldwell Banker Realty, also has its own private beach and a 100-foot dock, capable of housing even the most impressive of yachts.

Known as The Chateau on the Ocean, the 10,182-square-foot estate was custom designed for grand-scale entertaining and luxury living, with the high-end amenities stretching far beyond its interior—where the ballroom, sports court, and private bar can be found.

“The property is quite unique in that the attention level to detail is like no other, down to the craftsmanship in even the smallest elements,” said David Coury, who is selling the property with his wife, Zoila Maya. “When people walk onto the property, they say it’s magical, there’s nothing like it. They immediately feel the synergy throughout. It has a calm, private atmosphere that’s hard to find.”

The seaside retreat has hosted everything from lavish weddings to exclusive high-end events. It is less for large events now and more for private stays, where families from around the world come to relax and spend time together.

With a private chef, butler service, and everything available on site, guests often stay on the property for the entire visit.

“We built a great room that can be converted to an indoor pickleball court or basketball court,” Coury said. “This is not your typical house. It’s extremely versatile, with nine Baccarat chandeliers that completely change the vibe of the space into more of a Miami style lounge.”

Outfitted with Restoration Hardware pieces outdoors, the home’s lavish furnishings, including custom daybeds and lounge areas, convey with the estate, providing the next buyer a unique turnkey opportunity. Inside, much of the furniture was designed or built specifically for the home.

The sophisticated property boasts “couture-level finishes” with each bedroom individually designed and named by Maya.

An opulent Palazzo Suite overlooking the Atlantic boasts a Champagne minibar, designer furnishings, and floor-to-ceiling walls of glass offering panoramic ocean views that open up to a wraparound terrace.

A Glamour Suite was designed as a private salon where guests can have hair and nail services without leaving the property, something Maya highlighted as part of the overall experience.

Other ornate details include Versace wallpaper, elegant chandeliers, wrought-iron balconies, custom stained glass elevator doors, grand staircases, and mosaic fountains.

What started out as the couple’s personal beach getaway eventually turned into a luxury resort-inspired megamansion.

“It is often referred to as the Versace House of the Keys,” Maya added. “The outdoor living has paddleboards, kayaks, charcoal grills, a pizza oven, and a weatherproof dock that is illuminated.”Zoltan Photography

“We invested $14.55 million to improve the property,” Coury said. “We built it as a home to stay in forever. A lot of passion and love was put into this home.”

Maya explained that after Hurricane Irma, they began remodeling and continued expanding the property, admitting: “When we started building, we got carried away.”

Coury estimates they spent more than $8.1 million adding additional features and upgrades.

Other amenities found throughout the property include a cigar room, a fully equipped fitness center, a mosaic pool, and a raised spa with imported finishes. Multiple lounge and dining areas overlook the outdoor space that also has a 300-inch outdoor LED screen with surround sound.

A 5,500-square-foot rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Coury said the growing Islamorada market coupled with Maya’s interest in creating experiences led them to open the property to select guests as a high-end rental property.

“We have been very selective who we have come onto the property because it is such an exclusive private estate,” he said. “There are not enough words to describe how unique this property is. The dining room has sliding glass doors that open for outdoor dining and overlook the ocean. When you are there, you feel like you are on a cruise ship.”

The property is designed in a way that once guests arrive, they rarely feel the need to leave.

“It is often referred to as the Versace House of the Keys,” Maya added. “The outdoor living has paddleboards, kayaks, charcoal grills, a pizza oven, and a weatherproof dock that is illuminated.”

If the next investor wanted to expand, the estate includes preliminary architectural plans for six additional suites, including two oceanfront residences, giving the option to grow the property into a larger legacy compound.
