A converted church that was built in 1921 as a place of worship for German immigrants is on the market for $225,000.

The former St. Jone’s Church—or Haas Church at the Corners—in Fredonia, PA, is large and in possession of a few original artifacts.

“The sanctuary is huge. A prior owner took all of the wooden church pews out of it unfortunately, and took most of the stained-glass windows out,” says listing agent Kathleen Mackinnon with Realty One Group Landmark – Indiana.

“There are still a few [windows] left, but I think [that owner] was just taking what he could, selling it off, and then putting it up for sale.”

The upper level has gone through some renovations to give the church a makeover into a living space.

“You walk in the back door to the residence, and there is a large kitchen and two bedrooms and a bathroom, and then you go upstairs to the next level, and there is this large [room], which could be used for whatever or could be turned into another huge bedroom,” Mackinnon says.

“It’s not finished and there’s another room for a bedroom, and then there is another bathroom that is started but not finished.”

A bathroom on the main floor is functional, and one upstairs still needs to be completed. Additional space is available in the basement.

“It’s a great building, but it needs quite a bit of renovating,” she explains. “The kitchen is operable. There are two bedrooms and a third bedroom upstairs that would be set. Maybe you’d want to put in new carpet or something.”

The building is being sold as is. It sits on 2.41 acres, some of which is a cemetery with hundreds of graves of former congregants.

Since June of last year, TikToker and YouTuber the Blue Bodhi has owned the place, renaming it the Reliquary at St. Johns.

“She had big plans for it and then bought another business opportunity in Seattle, and she had to choose, so she chose Seattle,” Mackinnon says about the reason the property is for sale again.

The Blue Bodhi calls herself the Godmother of Magic and is a professional spiritual adviser to many people around the world, including the late Dustin Diamond from “Saved by the Bell.”

She uses the church property for supernatural tours or paranormal investigations. According to her website, the Blue Bodhi claims when she visited the former church in April 2025, the paranormal “activity was off the charts” with items falling off walls, people feeling like they were being touched, male voices being heard, and the faint sounds of children at play.

Mackinnon isn’t so sure.

“I myself never dive into that. Don’t know anything about it,” she says, adding she has never had any paranormal experiences while visiting the property.

“I also don’t listen for it. I’m not a part of that. I’m a Christian. I don’t want to dive into that at all.”

Mackinnon says the buyer does not need to believe.

“A buyer does not have to embrace that, and a buyer could use it for whatever they wanted to use it,” she says.

Mackinnon says the space has tons of potential and it would take about $60,000 to finish the remodeling and fix a few problems. The area has no zoning restrictions.

“I love that it’s a historic church, and I would love to see it turned into a wedding venue/Airbnb where the family could come and stay and get ready, and the sanctuary would be there for the wedding. There’s all kinds of parking at the side, and I love the beauty of the sanctuary,” she says. “It could be a beautiful church again. It could be used for any business.”
