“Come on, man. Come on. Stop this lucky crap. My middle finger is ready to appear in front of you.”
It’s true. I meant every word. Why so? Well, annoyance consumed me.
In front of me is a Golden Child in life who excels at work [previously] and business [today]. There are many reasons for his success. Hard work is one. Acumen is another. And then there is social intelligence.

All.
Why is this annoying to begin with?
I thought about it for a long time.
Luck. I am lucky. Lady Luck smiled on me. These are the words I would hear from JJ repeatedly. It has been years since I first heard them. We were acquainted years back.
I am unconvinced.
I knew JJ in my first consulting job as an analyst. We entered the firm at the same time. We were batch mates. As luck would have it, we got dispatched to the same project [read: fiery pit of hell].
