HGTV icon Christina Haack has slammed reports that she is engaged to her boyfriend, Christopher Larocca, after being spotted flashing a sparkling ring. It would be the fourth engagement for Haack.
The 42-year-old took to her Instagram Story to set the record straight on claims that Larocca, whom she began dating in October 2024, had gotten done on one knee.
Haack referenced an article from the Daily Mail titled, “Christina Haack flashes a ring on her wedding finger as she says she WOULD get married again… after 3 divorces.”
The article featured a snap of the home expert donning a ring on that finger after she attended an event for HGTV’s “Bachelor Mansion Takeover.”

Over the screenshot with a rolling eyes emoji, she penned, “Bad reporting.”
Haack then insisted that the bauble she was sporting was a sentimental piece of bling she had purchased for herself years ago.
“That ring (that I’ve worn for almost 10 years) is a Cartier love ring (a gift to myself) with my kids initials. And ‘Marriage is just not on my radar right now,’ was my exact quote,” she explained.
Haack was previously married to fellow HGTV star Tarek El Moussa from 2009 to 2018.
After her divorce to El Moussa was finalized, Haack tied the knot to Ant Anstead. The pair then split in 2020.
In 2021, Haack once again said “I do,” this time to Josh Hall. But less than three years later, they called it quits.
In 2024, Haack once again found love with Larocca, and has been boasting their PDA-riddled romance online, while insisting that they are taking things one day at a time.

In addition to taking her relationship at her own pace, Haack has been focusing on being a guest judge on the new reality TV series “Bachelor Mansion Takeover.”
Haack is among a slew of guest judges, including former “Bachelor” stars JoJo Fletcher and Sean Lowe, “The O.C.” star Rachel Bilson, and HGTV personality Nate Berkus. Former “Bachelor” stars Tayshia Adams and Tyler Cameron serve as the show’s main judges.
“Bachelor Mansion Takeover” sees a host of former stars of the popular dating series turning their attentions from romance to renovations, going head-to-head in a competition-style format, while giving the iconic property a full makeover.
Haack appeared on the latest episode of the series on March 9, and saw the contestants tackling renovations to the infamous Rose Room.
In the episode, Haack confessed that the property was in a more disastrous state than she’d expected.
“The mansion is a little bit run-down, guys. I thought it was going to be more mansionesque. Like, I pictured a Spanish villa. … It’s definitely in need of this renovation,” she said in the clip.
Haack then revealed that she never thought she would end up appearing on any “Bachelor” franchise, describing the collaboration between HGTV and the ABC show as “interesting.”

“I never thought I would be on ‘The Bachelor,’ so it’s kind of interesting intermingling HGTV with ‘The Bachelor.’ Definitely has a different vibe,” she said.
The HGTV star noted that she understands what it is like being judged and being the judge thanks to her work on “The Flip Off,” in which she competes against her Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Heather El Moussa, in their own renovation challenges.
“What’s better about judging than being judged? The critique part of it. To be honest, giving feedback. I feel bad because I have been on the other side, and I know the pressure that these contestants are under,” she said.
