GMF Group acquired Holiday Haven in Hudson, Florida, on July 20, 2022, for a recorded price of $750,000. Located at 8301 New York Avenue, Hudson, FL 34667, the manufactured housing community includes 24 lots and units. Holiday Haven’s name says it all—in this age-qualified community, residents enjoy living a vacation lifestyle along the sunny Gulf of Mexico.

Holiday Haven provides a tranquil retreat in the small, friendly community of Hudson, a hidden gem that offers the best of coastal living without the crowds that are common elsewhere. With easy access to the Gulf, residents can while away the hours lounging on the sand or strolling along the shore at Hudson Beach and other locales along the coast. Fishing and collecting scallops in the warm waters of the Gulf are also popular activities. At the Hudson Beach Marina, boaters can access wet and dry storage, rent pontoon boats, purchase live bait and supplies, and launch into the Gulf.

Meanwhile, watersports enthusiasts can explore SunWest Park, a waterfront recreation destination featuring a 70-acre spring-fed lake, white sand beach and swimming area, concession stand, and beach volleyball. Adjacent to it is Lift Adventure Park, which offers a floating ropes course, kayaking, paddleboarding, and wakeboarding for faster-paced thrills.

Nature lovers can head to the nearby Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park where hiking, birdwatching, and kayaking are favorite pastimes, thanks to its scenic saltwater springs, quiet inlets and bayous, and diverse wildlife. At the Aripeka Sandhills Preserve, hikers can traverse two miles of trails through hardwood swamp and pine-covered hills and fish in a small pond. Those who enjoying birdwatching should also visit the Florida Exotic Bird Sanctuary, a nonprofit in Hudson that provides a home for hundreds of brilliantly colored parrots, including macaws, cockatoos, and cockatiels.

Hudson may be a small town, but there’s plenty to see and do. Stop by Sam’s Beach Bar to enjoy a local hangout with fresh seafood and breathtaking views of the Gulf. Afterward, go to Hudson Beach Ice Cream Parlor for a sweet treat at one of the top ice cream shops in the state. To find gifts, artwork, and one-of-a-kind finds, visit Treasure Marts Hudson, an indoor mall that brings 100 small, local businesses under one roof. For a special night out, enjoy dinner, cocktails, and a show at Suncoast Broadway Dinner Theatre, which stages award-winning musical productions.
