I was depressed. No kidding.
We believe that we are invincible. That we can do anything and reach for the stars so long as we put 100% of our hearts and minds into the grind.
Well. That is BS. And I should have known better. I should have.
3 months ago, I was lured into a 35% commission opportunity selling digital marketing services. It was a simple deal. Sell, get paid, and get out. It suits my sales mentality. God, I hate to deliver. Pure sales work is heavenly.
I walked straight into my [own] monumental failure.
I never had an Instagram account. I had to sell Instagram services.
I never used TikTok. I cannot dance. Yet, I had to sell potential clients the benefits of having one for market outreach.
What about website search optimization? Or email marketing? Or Affiliate marketing? I embraced the same attitude. I failed to articulate the Return on Investment.
Probably because I don’t see one in the first place.
