After a lifetime of work, retirement represents a golden opportunity to live life without the stress of sitting in cubicles or wielding machinery on the factory line. It means being able to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
And yet, to live a comfortable life after you’ve pushed your work boots aside for the last time, there are certain local amenities necessary. A quality healthcare system you’re able to afford. The ability to remain active (whether that’s going to the gym or going for a nice walk), and, ideally, plenty of activities to keep you entertained. After all, without work chewing up so much of your day, you’ll suddenly have free time. So, unless you decide to take up a hobby (which you should still do), you’ll likely want a location where there’s always something going on or things to enjoy.
