Are you fretting over that next article? Many do, I know.
They wreck their heads to give birth to a new perspective on an overused topic. They read articles from online power players to scour for exciting monetization breeding grounds.
They [also] fret over their social media presence, believing that establishing an omnipresence online is a brilliant round-the-clock marketing campaign that will fill their pipeline with dollars.
I have nothing against that. Eventually, all content creators aim for [a higher degree of] monetization via content or building a business behind their content.
I find that aspirational.
Denis Gorbunov, for example, is always thinking about his monetization mechanics. I love talking to him. He widens my perspective about writing, business, and [ultimately] life.
And that is my focus here.
Forget the content treadmill.
Embrace serendipitous conversations.
Because such interactions… can take us far.
